The Map Editor allows you to pick items for a large collection of graphics to build towns, dungeons and amazing worlds. A Character Generator that can be used to heroes and NPCs with unique hair, eyes, clothes and accessories. Underlying all this is the Database, that comes with RPG Maker, it is the core of your game. It allows you do everything from setting your character name, stats, appearance, and skills, to defining equipment, enemies, and battle states. When it is time to launch your game, you can do so as a freeware or for commercial use. No commercial license is required to publish games with RPG Maker.
