The data provided by the community and OpenStreetMap is free to use for any software project that requires maps, as long as you credit the project and its contributors.

HERE WeGo offers turn-by-turn navigation for driving, walking, and public transportation. Users can enter their destination, and the app provides step-by-step directions, including voice-guided instructions and real-time traffic updates. It also offers alternative routes and provides estimated arrival times. The service provides detailed maps with various layers of information, such as points of interest (POIs), landmarks, and business listings. Users can search for specific places, such as restaurants, gas stations, hotels, and more, and view additional details such as ratings, reviews, and contact information.

With Bing Maps you can discover multiple locations and get transit, walking and driving directions when walking, driving a car or taking a train. Bing Maps offers live traffic data and traffic congestion alerts that allow you to plan trips and view the earth from satellite, aerial and street side imagery. Bing Maps is developed by Microsoft and can be used on mobile devices on the go, and on your desktop computer within all modern web browsers.

MapServer is an free and open-source platform for publishing spatial data and interactive mapping applications to the web. Originally developed in the mid-1990’s at the University of Minnesota, MapServer is openly developed and released under an MIT-style license, and runs cross-platform on macOS, Linux and Windows. MapServer is not a full-featured GIS system, nor does it aspire to be.

You can use Mapbox Studio to build and design a map to your exact specifications by uploading and editing your own data, utilizing Mapbox-provided tilesets, adding custom fonts and icons, or refining the built-in core styles.
