The application consists of two parts, a cloud-base part which is s mall PHP application that must be installed on a server, and the client which can should be installed on your local machne to be able to syncronise and share with the cloud. In that sense Nubo is similar to other file sharing solutions in that you drop files into a special folder on your computer to save and sync with cloud instance.

SparkleShare
SparkleShare is a free and open-source cloud storage and file synchronization software.
